![]() Others such as craving food stuff (foods made from chemicals, salts and sugars) need to be addressed.Īs we ascend it only makes sense that we make sacrifices along the way and heal the emotional triggers that come with food and diet. Some cravings are health such as craving cherries or mango or whole grain rice with tahini sauce. Perhaps, it’s time to find a holistic practitioner and go through a detox and see if you still crave those foods. I’ll write more on this topic at later time, but for now, journal about the foods you crave and ask yourself what lurks behind the craving. And keep your eyes out for new superfoods hitting the market. Some foods despite current information coming out about their dangers are still considered ceremonial and under the right circumstances help us on our spiritual path and that does include maize and cacao, to name two foods. And this isn’t even something you need to give much thought to since your tastes buds and your body changes over the course of spiritual ascension and you naturally want to eat foods that feel lighter to you. We might give up animal products since the more deeper we go on our spiritual path we choose not to consume animals or birds that we view as sentient beings or even as helpers on our path.īut with every type of food you eliminate from your diet, replace it with a high-energy food source such as mineral greens, beets, berries and so on. Some of the early choices of foods we give up are gluten because it messes up the gut and digestion (American wheat for instance is almost indigestible for anyone, but especially people with food allergies or Celiac disease). We might even revisit foods that were traditionally used for ceremonies such as corn or maize, as an example. So, for spiritual activities such doing ceremonies or practicing high-level meditation or giving energy healing sessions to clients, we eat lighter foods such as vegetables, seed butters, fruits, and some non-gluten grains. Finding the best diet occurs after we’ve detoxed our bodies with medical supervision (don’t try to do this on your own).Īs we spiritually ascend, our bodies become lighter and so do our food choices. Overtime our bodies fill up with toxins or we eat too much of a food group leading to food allergies or sensitivities. ![]() Now, while each individual diet does reflect specific tastes, body type and mental temperament such as with the Ayurvedic approach with the three Doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), means that no two people’s diets are exactly the same. Mindfulness involves listening to your body by following sensations after you eat a particular food or food group or mix of ingredients. Wedding mindfulness to whole foods (not the store, but actual food). And the best diet for each of us also has a lot to do with where we stand on our spiritual ascension path. The best diet balances a sense of ethics with healthy food choices that fuel the body and not deplete the body’s natural defenses. The best diet of all is one that involves common sense and research on the ways different chemicals and components in food or food stuff affect your mind body and spirit. If you’re following a fad diet or a diet in which you slap a label on yourself and over identify with other people on the same diet, then you’re still living inside the Matrix.
